Miro Sedlák is a security and defence researcher. He is currently a doctoral candidate at the Department of Security and Defence Studies at the Armed Forces Academy of General M. R. Štefánik. His research focuses primarily on democratic resilience, governance mechanisms, civil-military relations, and transatlantic security.

He publishes both in Slovakia and internationally. He writes regularly on security, defence, and geopolitics for Denník N and contributes to international media and expert platforms including Lawfare, EUobserver, Small Wars Journal, and others.

Previously, he worked as an economic journalist and analyst at the weekly TREND and has executive experience in the energy, real estate, and marketing sectors. He currently serves as Chief Revenue Officer in the energy sector.
