ICE joins the research project on advanced AI solutions for cybersecurity

The Institute for Central Europe (ICE) is a partner in the project “Research and Development of Advanced Artificial Intelligence Solutions for Cyber Threat Detection and Defense Against Sophisticated Attacks”, which aims to strengthen organizations’ ability to effectively address modern cyber threats through the use of artificial intelligence.
The project’s primary objective is to research and develop advanced methods, processes, and tools for detecting sophisticated cyberattacks. The research focuses on identifying attacks that employ tactics such as vulnerability exploitation, lateral movement, and privilege escalation, following the internationally recognized MITRE ATT&CK framework.
The project also includes the analysis of tactics, techniques, and procedures, the identification of their distinguishing characteristics, and the evaluation of the limitations of existing detection approaches. Its outcomes will contribute to the development of innovative AI-driven solutions that enable faster detection of cyber incidents, enhance the resilience of information systems, and strengthen the protection of the digital environment.

Our role focuses on the analysis of legislative and regulatory frameworks, helping ensure that the project’s research outcomes can be effectively translated into cybersecurity policy and practice.
