Call for applications : Online Training – Journalism, Migration & Asylum

The ACRONYM project is pleased to organize a capacity-bulding activity for journalism students and professional journalists from across the European Union on the media coverage of migration and asylum.

Held online, this activity will take the form of 3 weekly webinars between the 16 selected participants and the lead expert, Charles Autheman.

The activity will cover the fundamentals of reporting migration and asylum, with guidance on key legal frameworks, rights-based terminology and ethical reporting. Participants will be introduced to cross-border reporting techniques and will have the opportunity to share and discuss story ideas and collaborations.
